Did you know that you can download free E-books to your computer, nook, kindle, or other e-reader? We have library cards in Ankeny and Urbandale, and with each library card you have you are able to download free e-books. There is a lending period where the e-book will expire, but it's nice to be able to download books to read on the go and not have to actually go to the library.

There is no age restriction at the Ankeny library to get a library card, but you need to be at least 5 years old to get an Urbandale library card.
